HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein students participate in the innovation process on the topic of sustainable forestry and timber industry
On 23.01.2020, a class of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein accompanied by Dipl.-Ing. Josef Meierl and Dipl.-Ing. Renate Mayer took part in the 3rd workshop of the InnoForESt project on the topic “Innovation in the regional value chain “forest-wood” in Schlierbach.
The aim of the workshop was to find creative approaches for a better regional networking along the forest-wood value chain and to show actors in this system.
The students of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein participated in the networking workshop with interest and knowledge from their own practice and thus helped to further develop ideas and concepts.
The project team had already conducted interviews in advance and held group discussions and workshops in which the following topics proved to be particularly interesting. These topics include:
– Furniture, Design & Region
– Mobile wooden houses & tourism
– Making forest & wood an experience
– Networking and innovation platform
This third workshop was again a time of eager discussion and ideas were collected. Via the project’s homepage, everyone can get a good idea of the process so far and the future plans and inform themselves about possibilities for active participation.
