The University for Sustainable Development is a public corporation and at the same time a state university. It is supported by the president, Prof. dr. Wilhelm-Günther Vahrson, represented by law. HNE Eberswalde is under the legal supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the state of Brandenburg. HNEE coordinates the activities of the EU-H2020 project InnoForESt.
